In a sudden unexpected twist of events on an episode of GMA's Karelasyon, a swimming varsity captain Seth takes advantage of a girl fan named Abby, whom he invited to a boy's night out. Marvin, the lead protagonist and friend of the girl, objects to her being in the presence of his so called "brothers." His please fall on deaf ears as his teammates ignore him and insult him as a result.
Deep into the night and many drinks after, Abby gets drunk and falls asleep amidst the drinking session. The captain seizes this opportunity to carry his prey into a bedroom upstairs. Marvin tries to intervene but is stopped by another teammate who orders him to let Seth take care of the girl. Too drunk to resist, he backs down.
Once in the bedroom, Seth immediately goes into action and takes advantage of Abby while she is defenseless. He comes out with after a few minutes with a triumphant and smug grin on his face. When Marvin realizes what had occurred, he goes into a rage and punches the opportunist square in the jaw. The fight is stopped by the team and the two are held away from each other before things escalated into an all-out brawl.
Marvin quits the varsity the following day and confronts Seth and the other guys telling them he was glad he met them to realize they were not the kind of people he wanted to be friends with. His adamant recourse is met by laughter, insults and threats. On his way to class, he bumps into friends oogling something controversial on their phones. Marvin asks what the fuss was about and with a bit of hesitation, his buddies hand over a phone to him showing an image showing the words,
"Abby Mendiola commited suicide. May her soul rest in peace."
Shocked, Marvin can only sit down on the nearby bleachers and cry his heart out.
